OUR FOUNDRY
Cast in fire,
finished by hand
Aluminum utensils and parts cast in sand and permanent molds — thick-walled, even-heating and made to last for generations.

Melt
Aluminum ingots and clean scrap are melted in the furnace at around 700 °C.

Pour
Molten metal is poured into sand or permanent molds shaped like each kadai, handi or part.
03
Cool & release
Castings cool and set, then are broken out of the mold and trimmed.
04
Grind & polish
Every piece is ground, polished and inspected before handles and finishes go on.
